We are a nine-person shop in Montclair. We fit boilers, chase leaks, clear drains and answer the phone at hours when most firms send you to voicemail. Thirty-eight years in the same four streets of towns.

Repair, replacement and annual service. Gas and oil. We are Worcester and Navien accredited, which matters mostly because it keeps your warranty alive.

Tank and tankless. Same-day replacement on most models if you call before eleven, because a cold house is not a two-day problem.

Burst pipes & leaks
Tracing, repair and making good. We carry a thermal camera and an acoustic tracer, so finding it rarely means lifting a floor.
Emergency callout — any hour

Drains & sewer
Clearing, CCTV survey and root cutting. If it is the town's side of the line we will tell you that and we will not charge you for finding out.

Bathrooms & kitchens
First and second fix for your own fitter, or the whole room through us. Two to three weeks, and we tell you which days we are in the house.

Annual servicing
One visit a year, a written report, and a reminder the following August so you are not thinking about it in November.

How a job goes
The part most people actually want to know.

You call and describe it
A person picks up. We ask what you can see and hear, and whether it is safe to leave until morning. Quite often it is, and we say so.

We give you a window and a price
A two-hour window, not a day. A price before the work starts, and if it turns out to be something else we stop and tell you before carrying on.

We tidy up and write it down
What we did, what we replaced, and what will want doing in the next year or two. Emailed the same evening.

Everything inside these towns is a standard callout. Outside them, ask — we usually can, it just costs the travel.
